Why the yolk, and why freeze-dried?
The yolk is where a quail egg keeps its good stuff: concentrated protein, choline, selenium, biotin, fat-soluble vitamins and the omega fats that feed skin and coat. Baking removes a lot of that.
So we don't bake. Each yolk is frozen, then dried under low pressure until 97% of the moisture is gone — nutrients untouched, texture light and crumbly, no preservatives required.

How many can I give a day?
Follow the weight chart in the feeding guide — from half a yolk for toy breeds up to three for large dogs. Treats should stay under 10% of daily calories.
Is freeze-dried egg yolk safe?
Freeze-drying removes almost all moisture, which is what bacteria need to grow — so the yolk keeps its nutrition while staying shelf-stable and safe to keep in the cupboard.
Suitable for puppies and seniors?
From 12 weeks upwards, yes. It's soft, easy to break up and gentle on older teeth and sensitive stomachs. Introduce slowly, as with any new food.
